 | A variable stealth space attack aircraft carrier with the abbreviated name, Battle 25. It is connected at the tip of Island 1 and takes charge of guarding the convoy.
Since the scale of the emigrant fleet and the accompanying naval fleet has grown more than Macross 7 class and to support its role as the combat backbone of the fleet, it was designed to have enhanced fighting strength and command abilities. For this reason, its length was stretched 200 meters more than Battle 7 class and its operational weight was enlarged to 16,550,000 tons, or doubled.
Battle Frontier is comprised of 6 ships: 2 stealth medium space carriers which become the arms in attack form, a Combat Command Carrier "central block", 2 medium assault battleships which become the leg "engine blocks", and a heavy bombardment warship "Gunship". Even if separated, each can do fold navigation and more, and have plenty of combat capabilities, like a battleship.
When transformed from fortress to attack form, it is possible to use all weapons which are stowed away in weapons bays to increase the ship's stealthiness.
Battle Frontier Bridge | 0 | 0 | | | Island 1 is the flagship of the Macross Frontier fleet. It holds approximately half the fleet's population of 10 million, and a transparent dome encapsulates the top of the ship. A protective shell normally stays open over the dome, but it can close during battle and space fold operations. It is big enough to contain mountains, valleys, plains, rivers, and a sea. The plains contain the office districts, residential areas, parks, shopping districts, schools, and hospitals. In particular, the ship holds the Tenkumon concert hall and Mihoshi Academy. The ship was designed to resemble Earth before its near annihilation (during the early 2000s) to invoke a psychological sense of security. Old Earth structures can be clearly seen such as buildings from the American city of San Francisco and Shibuya of Japan.
Mihoshi Academy | 0 | 0 | | | Island 3 is one of the ships within the Macross Frontier fleet. It and the other ships are clustered around the main Island 1 flagship. It contains an agricultural area, the Zentradi mall Formo, an alien lifeform laboratory, a simulated sea, and a beautiful island resort. If necessary, such facilities can be chartered for the motion picture photography business.
Formo Mall | 0 | 0 | | | The Macross Quarter, a Variable Space Carrier, which is the operational base of the S.M.S. in the Macross Frontier fleet. It is one-quarter the size of the current Macross class warship and approximately the size of regular carriers. Despite being equivalent to a 400m-class vessel, it has a transformation system allowing it to transform from a warship (cruiser mode) to storm-attacker mode (battle mode) for close-combat. The port side of the ship functions as an aircraft carrier. It boasts the of mobility and combat performance of a fighter even though it is the size of mid-scale warship. Colonel Jeffrey Wilder is the ship's captain.
The Macross Quarter class multi-purpose stealth space combat mobile aircraft carrier is a variable attack space aircraft carrier which the private military provider S.M.S. stations aboard Macross Frontier. Frontier fleet's Yaesu Heavy Industries and the L.A.I. Corporation took charge of design and completed construction in a dock inside Frontier of the "relatively small and excellent maneuverability (variable attack space aircraft carrier)"-concept. Capable abilities of a aircraft carrier/amphibious assault ship, carrying a maximum of 80 VF and Destroids, Gatling-type buster cannon which can be used as a Heavy Quantum Reaction gun, high output reaction engine cluster, close-quarter combat capabilities through transformation to attack mode, and a 400m-class, it has the overall performance worthy of the "Macross"-name.
Macross Quarter was built in Macross Frontier's dock and handed over to S.M.S. after completion. It was registered as a "Special Duty Operation Warship" (when incorporated into the New UN Spacy, it became "Small mobile combat aircraft carrier"). It was moored to a special pier on Island 1's port side and functioned as a central command and graveyard facilities of S.M.S.. At the request of the Executive Office of the President and with permission of the New UN military headquarters to sortie in the Macross Galaxy Rescue Operation on 1st of May 2059 and henceforth for anti-Vajra combat after complete overhaul of the radar system.
